Flower Hotels & Resorts launches first children’s book
September 30, 2021
Flower Hotels & Resorts has created its first children’s book, in cooperation with the author Pandiola Caci and illustrator Alejdis Abdija.
The story of the Lost Pelican is inspired by such a rare and endangered bird found in the natural habitat of Karavasta.
The goal of Flower company, apart from creating an unforgettable experience, remains the education of our little ones, through the recognition of natural beauties in a blessed country like Albania.
The tale is about the pelican John who gets lost and finds himself at the Flower Hotel. Haunted and tired, he seeks accommodation in a hotel. The book explores the themes of childhood curiosity and the sense of discovery that turns everyday experiences into magical adventures.
The Curly Pelican illustrates Flower’s promise of providing warm care and hospitality to all staff.
Pandiola Caci, from the Management Department , says: “Satisfied with the transmission of this magical experience to our little guests, part of the Education program.
Reading stories is a powerful way to engage a child’s imagination by providing life skills such as the importance of compassion and making friends. We are excited to have a successful collaboration with the creative team and illustrator Alejdis Abdija who brought to life the Flower Hotel philosophy in the pages of the Lost Pelican.
Let us hope that this book generates even more enthusiasm among the younger generations in recognizing the uniqueness and beauty of our country.
Designed for our little guests aged 4 to 12, our Program seeks to inspire meaningful connections to the nature and tradition of our hospitality.
